PSA: I used to dump dish soap straight onto the sponge until I tried filling the bottle with water first
Switched to diluting my Dawn about 50/50 with water in a squirt bottle last month and now I use half as much soap per load with zero difference in how greasy my pans get clean, anyone else tried this hack or am I just cheap?

I mean, you say "zero difference" but maybe it's just me, I've never had luck diluting my dish soap because the water just makes it runny and I end up using more to get the same suds action. Plus a weaker soap means I have to scrub harder on baked-on grease, which takes more elbow grease than just using it full strength. Call me old school but I'd rather just squirt a little straight from the bottle and know it's actually working.

Tessa I've been there too, watered down soap just feels like a total waste of time and effort.
