Spent $80 on a DIY tattoo gun kit from Amazon. Big mistake.

Ordered one of those cheap rotary tattoo kits off Prime last month thinking I could save cash. The motor burned out after my second practice line on a grapefruit, and the needles were so dull they shredded the skin instead of piercing clean. Anyone else have luck with a specific budget setup that actually works?

Man same thing happened to me last month. Bought one of those fancy new blenders everyone was talking about and it died after two weeks. Literally just made smoothies with it nothing crazy. Customer service was useless too they wanted me to pay shipping to send it back. Ended up just tossing it in the trash cause the repair cost more than the blender itself. Such a waste of money and time dealing with their nonsense. Makes me never want to buy from that brand again honestly.

Honestly, aaronsullivan nailed it with that blender story. It's the same false economy with these cheap tattoo kits. They use the cheapest motors and needles that aren't even sharp enough to poke a paper towel. Tbh you're better off saving that $80 and putting it towards a used machine from a reputable brand on Facebook Marketplace or something. Ngl, I learned the hard way that "budget friendly" in tattooing just means more frustration and wasted skin.
