Wasted $80 on a cheap piercing gun from Amazon - worst mistake ever
I thought I'd save cash and DIY my second lobe piercing at home with one of those $80 kits. The gun jammed halfway through, left a nasty crooked hole that got infected 3 days later. Had to go to a real piercer who charged me $50 to fix it with a needle. Has anyone else gotten burned by those cheap gun kits?
Wait, is this really that huge of a deal though? I mean, yeah it sucks you got an infection and a crooked hole, but people act like a little infection is a death sentence or something. It's not like you got some crazy disease from it, you just had some redness and swelling, right? I feel like half the piercings I've ever gotten you could say got "infected" at some point if you're being dramatic about it. And $50 to fix it with a needle doesn't sound like that bad of a price either, honestly.
