Gotta agree with you @logan525, that one threw me too. I always figured hackers had bigger fish to fry than tricking people out of their latte money.

Yeah @troy_price, it's not just about stealing someone's coffee money. These fake hotspots are usually set up to grab passwords and banking info from people who aren't paying attention. Most folks don't realize how easy it is for someone to spoof a free WiFi network with a laptop and basic software.
