Switched from password manager to a notebook 3 months ago, way less stress

I used to use Bitwarden for everything but after that big breach last year I got nervous. Started writing down all my passwords in a small spiral notebook I keep in my desk drawer at home. No cloud, no sync, just me and a pen. I have like 40 accounts in there and it takes two seconds to flip through. Anyone else ditch digital for paper?

the_leo brings up a good point about being out of the house. I actually forgot my notebook at a friend's place last week and had to call her to read me my Netflix password while I was at the coffee shop trying to log in. Kinda embarrassing when she had to spell out "FluffyBunny2023" in front of a bunch of strangers.

What happens when you're out of the house and need a password... you just remember it or call someone to check the notebook? I get the appeal of going analog but that part seems like a headache waiting to happen. Also do you have a backup of that notebook or is it the one and only copy?

My memory's basically a sieve so I'd probably just end up locked out of my own life.
