Took me 3 months to realize I was using the same password for everything

I spent a whole weekend last fall making a spreadsheet of my accounts after my email got hit by a phishing scam, and it turned out I had 47 logins all using the same recycled password from college. Finally switched to a password manager I got for free through my library card and now I just have to remember one master password. Has anyone else found their old accounts buried deep that they totally forgot about?

Wait, did the password manager from the library actually work okay? I keep seeing ads for the big ones but I'm too cheap to pay monthly. Also how many of those 47 logins were stuff you completely forgot existed? I found an old MySpace account last year and that was a trip, but I bet you uncovered some real gems from like 2010.

Yeah Bitwarden free tier worked fine for me lol found some wild old forum accounts too.
