Am I the only one who bought the wrong kind of drywall for a bathroom?

I redid a small bathroom and used regular drywall instead of the green moisture-resistant kind to save about $40. After a year, the wall behind the sink started to swell and bubble from the humidity. What's the cheapest fix now that I have to tear it out?

Honestly that $40 saved you a year of use, so it was still a win.

My old backpack lasted a decade after I spent a bit more on it.

Yeah, that "year of use" thing is spot on, @willowg88. I had a cheap pair of shoes fall apart fast, so I just bought the better ones. It hurt my wallet once but saved me from buying three more pairs.
