Wasted $40 on waterproof poster board that just bent in the rain anyway
Bought a pack of those "all-weather" poster boards from the craft store last month for a climate rally downtown. First twenty minutes of drizzle and the edges curled up so bad you couldn't read the text. Went back to corrugated plastic sheets I used to use. Those hold up way better and cost like $3 at the hardware store. Has anyone else got burned by fancy sign materials?

Why do they keep selling this junk? I've had the same thing happen with those fancy sign boards. Stick with coroplast, it's cheap and actually works.

Wait, coroplast actually holds up better than those expensive sign boards, @blake792? That's wild.

See I actually had the opposite experience with that stuff lol. I picked up some of those waterproof poster boards for a yard sign last fall and they held up through like three straight weeks of rain without any curling at all. Could be different batch or maybe the humidity matters, who knows. Coroplast is definitely solid too though, used that for plenty of signs back in the day.
