PSA: Scrap metal yards are goldmines for dish parts, found a 1.2m offset in Detroit last Thursday.
Picked up a busted commercial dish for $15, the reflector was fine just needed to replace the LNB arm which cost me another $8 in threaded rod from the hardware store, anyone else scrounging salvage yards for parts?

Did anyone else convince themselves they were a genius for saving $200 on a dish, then realize they spent $23 in gas driving around looking for it?

Tbh you gotta factor in the gas before you even leave the house. I mean $23 is basically a full tank for some people so that deal just turned into a $177 dish real quick.
