Took me 6 months to figure out my LNB was aimed at the wrong satellite cluster the whole time
I spent close to half a year trying to get a stable signal on C-band. Kept swapping cables, replacing splitters, even bought a new receiver. Turned out I had the dish pointed maybe 5 degrees off target. A neighbor with a spectrum analyzer spotted it in about 10 minutes. Anyone else burn months on something that simple?

@corap21 Once bent my mom's antenna mount by accident. That got real.

Yeah "dish aiming was easy" is a trap I fell for too. One tiny breeze messes everything up and suddenly you're out there at 2am with a flashlight.
