My dashcam caught a weird signal glitch near a cell tower in Austin last month
I was reviewing footage from a drive near downtown Austin and saw my dashcam's GPS tracker go haywire for like 10 seconds right by a big cell tower. Has anyone else picked up interference from cell towers on their trackers or cameras?

My dashcam freaks out near microwaves too, guess I'm not the only one with a gadget that can't handle modern tech.

Has anyone else noticed that some devices just don't play well together these days? I've had my GPS go haywire near certain older routers before, so I get the frustration. It's funny how something as simple as a microwave can mess with these gadgets so badly.

Had a similar thing happen with my old bluetooth speaker and my wifi router. Every time I'd make popcorn and start a podcast, the speaker would cut out like crazy. Took me forever to figure out it was the microwave causing it, not the router dying. Eventually just moved the speaker to the other side of the kitchen and it works fine now, but man it was annoying trying to troubleshoot that. You ever try calling customer support about stuff like that? They always act like you're crazy until you mention the microwave thing.

Also, older wiring in houses can make interference worse. My parents live in a house from the 70s and the whole place feels like a dead zone for signal. I had an old landline phone that would actually pick up radio stations if the cordless router got too close. @logan561 talking about customer support reminded me of trying to explain that one. They kept telling me to reset the router, and I'm standing there like "the phone is playing classic rock, this isn't a network issue.
