Checked out the new city hall annex blueprints on display downtown
The floor plan layout for the mechanical room is a total mess, with ductwork clashing with structural beams in like five spots. Has anyone else had to fix a clash detection nightmare this bad from an architect's first pass?

Yeah, @the_fiona is right to be surprised. You see it all the time now. Last month we had a set where the plumbing stack ran straight through a main electrical panel location on three separate floors. It's basic stuff. Makes you wonder if anyone even opens the structural drawings before they send out the first round.
