I thought manual dimensioning was a waste of time until a project in Bend.

A senior drafter there showed me how his manual checks caught three major clashes the software missed. Now I run a quick manual pass on every set before final. Anyone else find their old habits still save the day?

Ngl, I see it at least once a month on my end. Last week it missed a duplicate invoice because the vendor name was spelled slightly different. You gotta spot check the big stuff.

Honestly, it happens more than you'd think, @ivan774. The software is good but it's not perfect. A quick manual look has saved my butt more than once.
