Just walked through the new city hall annex downtown and the electrical drawings are a total mess

Marking up prints yourself" - yeah, that works until you're staring at a mess that shouldn't have passed inspection in the first place. What gets me is that most of these issues trace back to whoever was running the CAD file before handing it off. If nobody caught the layer conflicts or weird spacing, it's not just a bad drawing, it's a safety hazard waiting to happen. Has anyone else noticed the city's been rushing permit approvals lately? That's probably why the drawings are sloppy.

Ugh, that sounds so frustrating! Been there with bad prints before.

Marking up prints yourself is actually a pretty standard way to handle it, @harper914. Contractors usually expect redlines for corrections.

Had a similar issue with our office remodel. Ended up just getting a red pen and marking up the prints myself (the contractor hated it, but it worked).
