My plotter in the office decided to eat a roll of Mylar last Friday

It was a 36-inch wide sheet, about halfway through a big site plan. The feed rollers just jammed and creased the whole thing. I had to power it down, take the back panel off, and carefully pull about 15 feet of crinkled film out by hand. Has anyone found a good way to prevent that specific jam on older KIP units?

Our old KIP 3000 only jams if the mylar roll isn't seated perfectly against the back guide.

anthony609 is right, that tension bar is key.

That sounds like a pretty minor problem.

Heard using the tension bar helps.
