Spent $75 on a cheap drawing tablet and it almost ruined my entire career

Bought some no-name tablet off Amazon to save cash and the lag was so bad I missed a deadline on a big drafting project. Has anyone else had a cheap tool screw up their workflow like that?

wait, $75 for a tablet that had lag so bad you missed a deadline?? i can't even imagine losing a client over a cheap amazon find, that's brutal. i've had my fair share of laggy gadgets but nothing that cost me actual work like that. hope you managed to fix things with the client!

Learned that lesson the hard way myself a few years back with a cheap drawing pad. It wasn't the lag that got me, but the drivers kept crashing mid stroke, and I lost about three days of work trying to get it to work right. I'd honestly rather use a mouse than go back to that. Always check the reviews for driver horror stories before you buy anything now, it's saved me a ton of headaches.

Honestly, the real problem might have been cheap drivers messing with your computer's other settings.
