Finally clocked 1,000 hours without a clog today

Been running the Ellicott 370 since April down on the Arkansas River and hit 1,000 hours of straight pump time with zero blockage. That surprised me because we usually hit a snag every 400 hours or so with all the roots and trash in this stretch. Anyone else tracking their longest clog-free stretch?

My buddy down in Texas hit 2,200 hours on his 370 before a grocery bag took him out, he was bragging for months about it.

2,200 hours is insane, @gavin365. I can't even wrap my head around that. My neighbor claims his 370 hit 1,800 but I think he was rounding up by like 300. Those grocery bags are sneaky though, my dad lost a brand new trimmer to one that was empty and just blowing across the yard.

Funny how something as simple as a plastic bag can undo all that time and care. Makes you think about how the little things in life often end up being the biggest problems, whether it's a lawnmower or a relationship.
