Lost a cutterhead to a buried anchor chain on the Mississippi last Tuesday

Felt the vibration change and knew something was wrong before I even brought the ladder up. Took me 6 hours and a dive team to get it all untangled - anyone else found random junk in the river that just ruined your day?

Yeah I used to think anchor chains were no big deal but that changed my mind fast after pulling one up near Cairo.

Wait, a dive team? That's wild. Six hours for one chain sounds like a nightmare. I've snagged tires and junk before but nothing that serious.
