Watched a guy in Spokane tape a corner with one smooth pull and realized I've been overworking my mud for years.

He used a 6-inch knife and ProForm Lite Blue, and his bucket mix looked way thinner than mine. Anyone have a go-to mud consistency for inside corners?

Honestly it's like that with so many things, we overcomplicate stuff that works better simple. Saw a barista once just pour milk for a latte instead of all the fancy swirling and it was perfect. We add extra steps thinking it's better, but often the easy way is the right way. Thinner mud is just another one of those things.

Man, I feel that... I swear I've been making mine way too thick for corners too. That thinner mix just seems to slide on and stay put.

Totally agree about the thinner mix sliding on better. My buddy learned that the hard way when his thick batch just globbed up in the corner seams. You're right on point, @rowanhernandez, it makes a huge difference.
