Found out my second passport doesn't help with global entry processing
Renewed my expired Global Entry card last month and found out I still had to wait in the regular line at JFK because my British passport doesn't link to the system I already signed up with. Wasted $100 on the renewal fee and two hours shuffling through customs. Has anyone else had their two passports actually cause more headaches at the border instead of less?

That's brutal, man. I've got a similar setup with a Canadian and US passport and I swear it's like the systems are designed to fight each other. Did you try calling the Global Entry office to get them to manually link your British passport, or are they just as useless on the phone as they are in person? Because I spent three months on hold before someone finally told me I had to physically go to an enrollment center to fix it. That's insane for a $100 renewal that's supposed to streamline things.

@foster.jordan your best bet is the app, the one time it worked for me.

Three months on hold? That's rough, but you're not wrong about the call center being useless. One thing though, the renewal fee is actually $120 now for Global Entry, not $100. They bumped it up a couple years ago and it covers the five-year term. But yeah, the system linking multiple passports is a nightmare. I've got Irish and US passports and the CBP website just spins its wheels every time I try to update it. The app worked once for me too, but then it glitched out and I had to mail in a paper form.
