10 years in and I just realized I was stripping wire backwards
Been doing service calls for a decade, always stripped with the insulation facing me. Last week a master electrician watched me for 2 seconds and said 'you're doing it backwards, the bevel goes toward the cut.' Turns out I've been fighting the tool that whole time. Anyone else have a basic habit that took way too long to unlearn?
