Used to think the big, complicated problems were the only ones that mattered. Then I spent a whole afternoon trying to figure out why a door wouldn't latch, only to find a tiny piece of gravel stuck in the strike plate. @logan561 is right about that humble pie. Spent three hours last night trying to figure out why my code wouldn't compile. Turned out I had a missing semicolon on line 47. Felt like a total genius after that. Those little wins make the whole frustrating process worth it.
