Heard a foreman say 'the code is the minimum, not the goal' on a hospital job in Tacoma.
That stuck with me, so now I always ask myself if I can make a pull box layout or conduit run just a little cleaner than what's technically required.

I used to think like that too, but that foreman's line really flipped a switch for me. It's not about wasting time, it's about taking a little pride in the work. A cleaner install just looks professional.
