Just learned that most HDMI cables over 15 feet don't actually support 4K HDR properly
I was swapping out a projector in a conference room last Tuesday and couldn't get a stable signal past 12 feet. Checked the specs on a few 25-foot cables I had and turns out they max out at 18Gbps, not the 48Gbps needed for full 4K HDR. Has anyone else run into this issue with long runs or found a solid workaround besides active cables?

Used to think cable length didn't matter, yeah this changed my mind.

@shane_park92 nailed it, physics always wins with long cables.
