Tbh, a dab of isopropyl on a q-tip saved my gaming console repair yesterday
Honestly, it cleaned the corroded ports way better than any fancy cleaner I've tried.

Classic! It's always the basic stuff that actually works when the expensive options fail. I have a whole drawer of fancy cleaning gels and sprays that just collect dust. They make all these big claims but can't even handle simple corrosion. Meanwhile, that plain bottle of isopropyl is like a quiet hero in the back of the medicine cabinet. It's kind of hilarious how we overlook the obvious solution until everything else lets us down. Your console probably feels brand new for like two bucks.

Can we talk about my collection of "miracle" car waxes next?

Ugh, same. I spent twenty minutes trying to fix my headphones with a tiny screwdriver before realizing the plug just needed a quick wipe. Felt so dumb.

Right? This happens everywhere once you start looking. People buy fancy fuel additives when their car runs rough, but half the time it just needs the basic spark plugs changed. Or in cooking, all the special kitchen gadgets while a simple sharp knife and cast iron pan do 90% of the work. We get sold on complex solutions when the fix is often straightforward and cheap. It's a weird blind spot.
