Just noticed the elevator at the old Grandview Hotel in Spokane still has its original 1920s manual door clutch.
The brass linkage was worn but still engaging, which got me thinking about the oldest working part you've all seen still in daily service.

That's wild, @angelaw78. It makes you wonder how much old tech is still running behind the scenes. I heard about a power plant that used a steam engine from the 1920s until just a few years ago.

Honestly that 1913 subway signal is probably more reliable than my wifi. Tbh some of this old tech just refuses to quit.
