Rant: A new guy on the job in Tampa told me my governor rope tension was off by a quarter inch and he was right.

I always eyeballed it, but after he showed me his gauge reading, I started checking every car with a tension meter first thing, so what's one small habit you changed after getting called out?

Mine was checking tire pressure with a gauge instead of just kicking the tires. A buddy saw me do it and laughed, said I was gonna ruin my tread. He was totally right, my pressure was way off. Now I use the gauge every single time, it takes two seconds.
