Finally tried a new way to apply my chemical peel versus my old slap-dash method
I used to just brush it on quick, but this week I took a full 5 minutes to really layer it on in thin, even sections. The client had zero irritation and way better flaking. Anyone else find that extra time on application makes a huge difference for results?

Goodness, you used to just slap it on?

Honestly, is there a wrong way if it works for you? My skin does fine with a quick slap of moisturizer. Rubbing it in for minutes feels like extra work for no real payoff. Some of us just aren't trying to have a whole routine.

Holy crap you just slapped it on?! That's wild to me haha. I mean I get not wanting a whole routine but you gotta at least smear it around a bit. Your face is not a wall you're painting lol. Rubbing it in actually makes a difference with how it absorbs and stuff. I learned that the hard way when I used to just dab it on and wondered why I still looked flaky.

Back in 2018 my skincare was just a bar of Dial soap and whatever free sample moisturizer I had. I'd put it on while half asleep and call it good. My face was either a desert or an oil slick, no in between. I've since learned you're supposed to actually rub it in, not just paint your cheeks and hope for the best. The glow up was accidental.
