How a weekend closet cleanout shifted my thoughts on treatment room storage

I used to think keeping my massage tables folded up was fine to save space. After sorting my home linen closet and seeing how easy access improved my routine, I now leave my table set up. What small change has made your workday smoother?

What's the dumbest tidy-but-stupid thing you still catch yourself doing?

Ugh, we really do pay the dumb tax daily.

Noticed this pattern everywhere after switching to leaving my kitchen knives on the counter instead of in a drawer. We trade daily ease for some abstract idea of neatness or saving space, then waste mental energy on tiny friction points all day. Your table example is the same logic, paying a small upfront "clutter tax" for way less hassle. Seems like the real hack is spotting where we've made things tidy but stupid.

My knife block collects dust since I started doing that too.
