Just realized letting my steam machine heat for a full 15 minutes before a facial makes a huge difference in product absorption.

I was rushing through my morning appointments and saw noticeably less hydration in my clients' skin until I started timing the warm-up with my phone's timer, so what's your best pre-service prep trick?

You ever try warming the towels in a crock pot? I mean, it sounds weird but I got a small one just for the treatment room. Throw a stack of hand towels in with some water and lavender oil on low, they stay hot and steamy for hours. Clients love it because the heat is way more even than a microwave, and it makes the whole room smell amazing. Idk, maybe it's just me but that extra step makes the steam feel way more effective.

Honestly, that's just good attention to detail, and people really notice that stuff.

Honestly that seems like way too much work for a towel. The microwave gets them plenty hot in like 30 seconds, and most clients can't tell the difference. You're just adding extra steps and another appliance to clean.
