Just wasted $400 on a 'professional' facial steamer that broke after two clients
I got it from a trade show in Austin last month, the rep swore it was salon-grade. It worked fine for my first two facials, then on the third it just sputtered and died. No steam, just a weird clicking noise. The warranty process is a nightmare, they want me to pay for shipping to their repair center, which is another $60. I'm out the machine and the money for the facials I had to reschedule. Has anyone found a reliable steamer brand that actually lasts more than a week?

Did you happen to check if your business insurance might cover equipment failure? Some policies have a clause for sudden breakdown of professional tools, and they could potentially cover the lost income from those rescheduled appointments too. It's a long shot, but worth a call to your agent before you pay more for shipping. That warranty process sounds like they're banking on people giving up.

Right there with you, my cheap one did the same thing after three uses.

Totally feel that pain. Claire_davis31 might be onto something with the credit card idea.

Ugh, that's so frustrating! Did you pay with a credit card? Sometimes they have buyer protection for stuff like this.
