Serious question, a client in my chair yesterday said something that made me pause

She told me, 'My skin finally feels calm, not just clean,' after switching to a gentler cleanser I suggested 3 weeks ago. Has a small change in a client's routine ever given you that kind of feedback?

That's just basic skincare, honestly.

Feel this so hard, aaron740. Remember when drinking water was just being thirsty and not a wellness trend? Now if you don't have a seven step routine you're somehow failing at being a person. It makes the simple stuff feel like a chore you're bad at.

I saw a post last week where someone called daily flossing "advanced dental care." It's the same thing, aaron740. People are acting like normal upkeep is some kind of expert-level hack now. It makes basic life skills feel weirdly out of reach.
