The time I used a kitchen spatula for a stubborn extraction
Okay, so this is going to sound nuts, but hear me out. I had a client last month with a deep, stubborn blackhead on her nose that just would NOT budge with my regular tools. I was about to give up after three tries, and she was getting frustrated. In a moment of pure desperation, I grabbed a clean, brand new silicone kitchen spatula from my drawer. I gently pressed the flat, flexible edge around the pore, and I swear on my license, the thing popped right out cleanly with zero trauma. My client and I just stared at each other and burst out laughing. It was the weirdest, most effective hack I've ever stumbled upon. I'm not saying I'm adding it to my official kit, but has anyone else ever used a totally random object in a pinch that actually worked?

Your drawer had a brand new kitchen spatula ready to go. That's the real mystery here, not the extraction. I keep my tools and my cooking gear in very separate places.

Kept a spare spatula in my desk drawer after I burnt my hand fishing a stuck bagel out of the toaster one morning. @elliotm57, sometimes you just learn the hard way and prep for the next time.

Wait, a brand new spatula? Honestly I'm stuck on the fact you just had one in your drawer at work.
