Hit 500 linear feet of privacy fence in one day and I finally get why speed matters
I always thought taking it slow was the key to getting things straight, but last Tuesday I pushed myself to hit that 500 foot mark on a backyard job in Austin. Turns out the rhythm of working faster actually kept my posts more aligned because I wasn't second-guessing every step. Anyone else found that moving quicker improves your accuracy?

Got a buddy who builds decks in San Antonio and he swore by going slow until he tried banging out 50 fence panels in one shift. Said he stopped overthinking each post and just trusted his string line, ended up with the straightest run he'd ever done. Now he tells everyone speed forces you to commit and adjust on the fly instead of getting paralyzed by tiny adjustments lol.

Did he say anything about how the hardware held up with that pace?

Oh man, that's wild. 50 fence panels in one shift is insane. I guess speed really does force you to just go for it.
