Just finished a 500 foot cedar fence job in Tacoma and the client tipped me $500 cash

We wrapped up the install yesterday, and when I handed over the keys, the homeowner just gave me an envelope. I've been doing this for 15 years and never got a tip that big on a single job. It wasn't even a crazy hard install, just a clean property line. Has anyone else had a client surprise them with a bonus like that? What did you do with it?

That reminds me of the time a guy tipped me with a vintage baseball card collection.

Seriously? That sounds like a terrible tip to me. I'd be so mad if someone gave me old cards instead of cash, @roberts.leo. How are you supposed to pay bills with that?
