Looked at my work log and saw I've set exactly 1,000 posts this year

I was just adding up my jobs from the last few months, you know, for taxes. The total came to 1,000 posts driven, which kind of blew my mind. I mean, that's a lot of holes dug and concrete mixed, mostly for vinyl privacy fences around here. It just hit me how much physical work that actually represents. Anyone else ever get surprised by a number like that when you stop to add it all up?

Man I feel that in my bones. I've helped a buddy put up maybe 200 feet of vinyl fencing and that drill sound still haunts my dreams. The constant high pitched whine followed by the clatter of screws hitting the ground is like a nightmare you can't wake up from. Your neighbors probably think you're building some kind of fortress or something. My condolences to your ears and your patience, seriously.

How many miles of post hole did that end up being? That's a crazy number, makes my back hurt just thinking about it. I bet your forearms are like steel cables after all that digging.
