Rant: Pounded 60 posts last week with a cheap driver and my arms are still angry at me
Used a $30 harbor freight fence post driver from 3 years ago and it took twice as long as when I borrowed my buddy's $150 one. Has anyone else noticed how much a heavy driver saves your body on big jobs?

That cheap driver probably has zero vibration dampening right? I bet you're feeling every single hit in your elbows and wrists. Did you notice any numbness or tingling in your hands after the first day with that harbor freight thing? I wonder if the extra weight of a better driver actually absorbs some of the shock so it doesn't all go straight to your joints.

Honestly @drew_hart4 I kinda disagree, cheap drivers can have terrible vibration but sometimes the extra mass of a heavier tool actually makes it worse since it's just slamming your joints harder with every hit.

Wait did you actually try it yet or are you just guessing? I've seen some cheap impact drivers that actually aren't that bad on vibration if you pair em with the right bits, but the Harbor Freight ones seem to hit different.
