Spill the beans" makes me think of a client last year, sean854. They had a whole deck plan using cedar, and the inspector just said "check the grade stamp" and walked off. It was a total game changer for them too.

Ha, well my last inspector just asked if I was sure the posts were for holding something up and not just for looks. I felt pretty smart that day.
