Tbh, that one post hole on the Johnson job took me three hours to dig by hand. Anyone ever hit a layer of solid rock they just couldn't get through?

Man, @wade250, that story about your buddy paving over limestone is wild. It reminds me of the time we found an old car engine block buried six feet down in what was supposed to be a simple post hole. We spent half a day with a torch and a chain just trying to break it loose. Some days the ground just fights back and wins.
