My boss said my 'private' Instagram rant about a client's messy house was unprofessional, even though I didn't name them. Got a final warning.

Your boss is right, that was really dumb.

Calling it dumb seems harsh. I just saw the situation differently.

Who even checks their employees' private accounts?

Seriously, got fired for the same exact thing.
