Gotta say this reminds me of my cousin who worked at a dentist office and posted a photo of their holiday party with a caption like "bracing ourselves for the worst" and somehow management decided it was about a patient's root canal they had coming up. They made her delete it and write a formal apology. People get so weird about anything that could be twisted into being about someone else's personal stuff. It's like the internet forgot context exists.

Pretty harsh" is putting it lightly. What kind of joke gets someone fired that fast? It must have been way over the line for a patient.
