Question about a gym coach losing his job over a mental health tweet

My buddy is a fitness coach and he tweeted that lifting weights helped him with depression. His gym found out and fired him, saying it was not part of his role. I believe he was sharing a personal win to inspire others. Do you think that's right?

Firing him for that seems unfair. Sharing personal wins can really help others feeling the same way.

My buddy Mark's post about quitting smoking helped three people lol.

Actually used to roll my eyes at those "personal journey" posts online. Figured they were just for likes. But hearing a real story like Mark's actually helped people quit? That's different. Changes how I see sharing that stuff. Three people is a real impact, and that's pretty cool.

What if the gym had a strict no advice rule?
