Remember when people would just post wild stuff on their personal Facebook after work?
I was at a bar in Charlotte in 2012, and a guy I knew got fired from his bank job for posting a photo of himself with a beer, captioning it 'liquid lunch on the company dime lol'. Honestly, that whole vibe of 'my page, my rules' just evaporated after that. Do you think that kind of thing would even make the news now, or is it just expected?

Wow, that guy learned the hard way to just keep work and social media totally separate!

Yeah I saw a story about a teacher who got in trouble for old tweets. It's wild how stuff can come back years later.

Locked down my old accounts and started fresh a few years back. Honestly, a private profile and a common name make you way harder to find. It's the only thing that gives me peace of mind now.
