Always thought morning shifts were a scam until I got one

I was totally convinced that working at 5 AM was just a way for bosses to ruin your life for no reason. Then I landed a bakery gig at 6 AM and realized I got done by noon with the whole day ahead. Anyone else flip on a schedule they swore they'd hate?

Totally get what you mean. I was the same way about night shifts, thought they'd be the death of me. Then I started working graveyard at a warehouse and honestly, it's kind of nice being done when everyone else is just waking up. The quiet is peaceful and you miss all the traffic and drama. It's weird how a schedule you think will suck can actually work out perfect for your life. That bakery gig sounds solid, getting out at noon is a huge win. Happy for you that it clicked.

@max_hernandez27 yeah man the no traffic thing is huge. I leave work at 2am and it takes me 15 mins to get home. My buddies that work 9-5 spend like an hour each way dealing with bumper to bumper nonsense. Plus the whole "no drama" thing you said is real. My boss is never around on graveyard so I just put my headphones in and grind. Feels like you get the whole day back even if it's flipped around.

@max_hernandez27 the quiet is nice but I sleep like garbage during the day and feel constantly off.
