Old manager told me to 'never trust a customer who smells like cigarettes and cologne' - dead right

Had a guy come in complaining his tires were low, smelled like an ashtray mixed with Axe body spray. Tried to upsell me on some story about his 'racing background' while I filled them. Caught him later trying to walk off with a floor jack from the bay.

Well jadej50, you might be surprised but that cigarette and cheap cologne mix actually works on some people. I've seen a few guys over the years pull it off at bars and parties, it's more about confidence than the actual smell. Maybe it's just a certain type, but some folks find that rough-around-the-edges vibe kind of appealing.
