My apprentice figured out a faster way to trim door jambs.

He grabbed a multi-tool instead of a handsaw. Saved us so much time.

Wait, which multi-tool blade did he use?

Honestly, the specific blade is the least important part of the whole thing. People get hung up on gear specs when the real story is the skill needed to use any tool correctly in a tough spot. Fixating on whether it was the serrated blade or the plain edge misses the bigger point entirely. It's like arguing about the brand of duct tape after someone patches a leaking hose. The result is what counts, not the minor detail of which piece of steel did the job. Getting the job done with whatever was on hand is the whole idea of a multi-tool anyway.

For real, he's totally right. Who even cares which blade it was.

Used to fixate on gear like ward.kim, but seeing the result changed my mind.
