Shoutout to the new airport terminal in Charlotte, I mean the tile layout in the main hall is just a mess

I get what juliarodriguez is saying about it being different, but to me it just looks messy and unfinished. It makes the whole space feel busy and a bit stressful, not like a calm place to wait for a flight. I'd take a clean, simple floor any day.

Honestly, I kind of like the chaos of it. It breaks up the space instead of being another boring grid. Feels more like a pattern you'd see in a rug than a floor. Maybe it's just me, but I find it way more interesting to look at while waiting around.

Ha, yeah I was totally in the "it's a mess" camp at first too. But after reading what @juliarodriguez said about it being like a rug pattern, I kinda see what she means now. It's definitely more interesting than another boring white tile grid, I'll give it that.
