A guy named Leo in my shop argued that peonies are a lazy choice for wedding work

He came in last spring looking for something 'not basic' for his sister's bouquet and said peonies were just a crutch for designers who can't build texture. We were in the back room at Bloom on Main in Springfield for like twenty minutes going back and forth. I think they're a classic for a reason, but he kept pointing at my cooler saying I was playing it safe. Has anyone else had a client really challenge your go-to flowers?

Honestly @phoenix_lewis is right, I read that whole thing. Tbh it went super deep into the whole process, like how they source the materials and everything. Ngl it was way more involved than I ever thought it would be. Kinda changed how I look at it now.

Read that article last week. Went way down the rabbit hole. They talked about the whole supply chain, from raw stuff in one country to assembly in another. Makes you realize how many hands touch one thing before you get it. Changes how you see the price tag for sure.
