Had to pick between using a glue gun or floral tape for a huge peony bouquet yesterday.

Went with the tape for a 'natural look', but the whole thing started leaning like the Tower of Pisa before I even got it in the vase. Anyone have a better trick for heavy blooms?

Right? Floral tape is straight up lying to us. That stuff gives you just enough hope to make a mess and then it gives up. Glue gun is definitely the move, it's the only thing that actually means business.

Oh man, the floral tape betrayal is real! Sounds like your bouquet wanted to go on an Italian vacation without you. Next time maybe try those thick green straws for support, or just give in and use the glue gun like a heathen. We all know nature is held together with spite and hidden adhesive anyway.

Honestly @shanef34, how many times has that tape failed you? Tbh I'm curious if the glue gun is actually the secret move for good.

Nature's just a hot glue gun project with extra steps, honestly.
