Heard a customer at the market say they 'just order from the app' now
I was grabbing coffee before opening the shop and overheard a woman tell her friend she hasn't been inside a flower store in years because an app is easier. It got me thinking about how much of our connection with people we've lost to screens. Do you find ways to bring that personal touch back for online orders, like a handwritten note?

I see what you're getting at, paulw53, but I think a mailed hug is a bit different from what we're talking about here. A handwritten note isn't about mailing feelings-it's about showing someone you took a few extra minutes to think of them personally. That small effort can mean a lot, especially when most interactions are just quick taps on a screen. I don't think it's all or nothing. We can keep the convenience of an app and still add little human touches where they count.

What's next, sending a hug through the mail?

Worry about losing the human touch. A handwritten note is a good start, but @aaron_mitchell is right to question where it ends. We might just end up mailing feelings instead of sharing them.
